The above map of Bombay and it's vicinity drawn in the year 1703, coincidently also demarcates the entire region of the East Indian Community. The map drawn in the way the Sea farers would have found Bombay and its surrounding.
This is one of the innumerable proofs of Christianity existing and thriving in Bombay and it's surroundings from the earliest of times. And also of the name of Bombay existing much before the early 17th century and much before the name of Mumbai or any other occurrence that needed the change of name from Bombay to Mumbai.
